When everyone is working together, helping and trusting each other with the same team mentality it makes the days in the office very much enjoyable.Providence makes every effort to ensure that this list of providers is up to date and accurate. The people are the most enjoyable part of the job. Luckily the clients and customers are very understanding along as you keep them updated of what causing the delays. Very understanding and when treated with a positive and genuine care it is reciprocated.Īt times it's difficult to adhere response times and or delivery of services be it whatever the nature (staffing, vacation, holiday, partner delays, etc). The best co-workers to work with and support to this day. Sharing information for those who seek information and advice guidance. The owners definitely display their leadership, same team mentality by the works anyone can view on the daily.Ĭo-workers are on the same team mentality. Management is done by each department and the owners of the company are the Radiologist.

I've learned that the culture of the company, leadership, relationship established and maintained each department and partner is what makes for a successful and fun work environment. In between the daily support requests would be working on projects issued by management. Typical workday would consist of responding to support calls, emails, ticketing system, and in person for any and all technical issues within the company. Which is totally within an employers limits and it - more. They changed the amount of absences you can have before having a follow up in the middle of the year without resetting the amount people had, THEN using a moderate fear tactic, they say you are over the amount now and that they will fire you if you miss anymore work. Management does mid-shift firing and follows up with an email saying “so-and-so is not longer employed with Radia,” causing “talk” (ie gossip) among those who receive the email.

Not to mention people who should not be there are kept there when they are not good for the company. Doctors (radiologists with us and at the facilities), Technicians, Nurses and other care team members can be as rude as they want to us and nothing will be followed up with, further creating a negative impact on the environment. Nothing is done about the hostility yet management will give a false sense of hope by telling us to PLEASE reach out with improvements or anything that can be helped. It also turns into a toxic and hostile environment really quick, as is with most jobs that carry a shot hierarchy of people, and promoting the wrong people to the higher jobs who let it go to their heads. This is great in theory however there is a lousy hierarchy in Radia that is not efficient and management changes the process and workflow of the Imaging Assts’ job, without being open to our suggestions. There is an application (the Dashboard) that is specific to processing exams for Radia that the IAs work solely on. However, it can become a very challenging job. But they have no say/control over the operations center. The majority are wonderful to work with and some even make the work fun. The main positive is working with the radiologists. I will also leave as soon as I secure another job The majority of long-term employees have left, or have plans to leave. Employees used to be able to deliver feedback at the end of each meeting, but no longer encouraged.ĭay to day work used to be mainly autonomous with previous management being available when you needed them, but now management constantly micromanages every aspect of the job.Įmployee retention has dropped drastically due to the above and management appears unconcerned. Regular staff meetings where new procedures/information on company direction, are now a rarity and cut short when they do happen. New workflow changes are poorly communicated. Also, work schedules which used to remain fairly stable and only changed with ample warning and collaboration from the previous supervisor, now change frequently and with no regard for the employees home life.Įnvironment is highly stressful, which is to be expected in medical, but the previous support from management is now nonexistent. The pay structure changed drastically with most employees now making less. The imaging operations center changed drastically when the previous supervisor left late last year (2021) and the new supervisor under him took over.

This used to be a great place to work under previous management.
